Nonogram Daily is a daily logic puzzle game. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application collects and how it is used.

Summary: Nonogram Daily assigns you an anonymous ID to track your streak and leaderboard score. No personal information such as your name, email, or location is ever collected or shared.

1. Information We Collect

Nonogram Daily collects only the minimum data required to deliver core features:

Anonymous user ID — automatically generated on first launch. This ID is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personal identifier.
Puzzle completion data — which puzzles you have solved and your solve times, used to power your streak and the leaderboard.
Device timezone — used locally to determine when the daily puzzle resets at midnight. This is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not collect:

Your name, email address, or phone number
Your precise or approximate location
Any payment or financial information
Any data from your contacts, camera, or microphone

2. Permissions

Nonogram Daily does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or location services.

An internet connection is required only to load the daily puzzle and submit leaderboard scores. The Level Pack (100 puzzles) is available fully offline.

3. Data Storage

Your anonymous user ID and puzzle completion data are stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. Local game preferences and level progress are also cached on your device via AsyncStorage.

Firebase's own privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

4. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

Displaying your daily puzzle streak and personal best
Showing your solve time on the leaderboard
Restoring your progress if you reinstall the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the app.

5. Third-Party Services

Nonogram Daily uses the following third-party service:

Google Firebase (Firestore & Anonymous Authentication) — for puzzle data storage and anonymous sign-in. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, behavioural tracking tools, or analytics SDKs. Google Play may collect standard technical information as part of its platform operations; please refer to Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your anonymous data is retained for as long as the app is installed and in active use. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Upon request, your anonymous user ID and all associated puzzle records will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Nonogram Daily is suitable for a general audience including children. Because we only collect an anonymous, automatically generated ID with no personal information attached, the app does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

If future updates introduce features that require additional data collection or permissions, this Privacy Policy will be updated and the new version will be made available via the Google Play Store listing and at the URL where this policy is hosted.
