CalcApp is a calculator application offering standard arithmetic and scientific functions with a clean, modern interface. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Summary: CalcApp stores your preferences (theme, angle unit, decimal settings) only on your local device. We do not collect personal information, serve advertisements, or transmit any data to external servers.

1. Information We Collect

CalcApp stores the following information locally on your device only:

Theme preference (dark mode or light mode)
Angle unit setting (degrees or radians)
Decimal precision preference
Haptic feedback on/off preference

This data never leaves your device. It is stored using AsyncStorage (local device storage) and is not transmitted to any server.

We do not collect:

Email addresses or contact details
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Payment information
Camera, microphone, or contacts access
Analytics or crash reporting data
Calculation history or inputs

2. How We Use This Information

All locally stored information is used solely to:

Restore your preferred theme (dark or light) on each app launch
Retain your chosen angle unit and decimal precision between sessions
Remember your haptic feedback preference

None of this information is used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

3. Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates

CalcApp uses Expo's OTA update service to deliver improvements directly to your device. During an update check, the App makes a network request to Expo's update servers to determine whether a new JavaScript bundle is available. No personal data or device identifiers are included in this request beyond standard HTTP metadata (such as IP address) handled by Expo's infrastructure. 4. Data Storage

All user preferences are stored entirely on your local device using AsyncStorage. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App will permanently delete these preferences. No backup or sync to any cloud service is performed.

5. Third-Party Services

CalcApp uses only one third-party service: Expo Updates (Expo), used exclusively to deliver over-the-air improvements as described above. No advertising networks, analytics platforms, or behavioural tracking tools are integrated.

Google Play may collect standard technical information as part of its platform operations. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for more details.

6. Children's Privacy

CalcApp is suitable for users of all ages. The App does not require registration, does not collect personal information, and does not display advertisements. The only information stored is your local settings preferences.

7. Your Rights

Since CalcApp does not collect or transmit personally identifiable information to any server, there is no personal data held by us to request, correct, or delete. All your data is stored on your own device and can be cleared at any time by clearing the App's local storage or uninstalling the App.

8. Security

CalcApp does not transmit sensitive data over any network. OTA update checks use HTTPS exclusively. No user-entered calculations or results are stored or transmitted.

9. Changes to This Policy

If future updates to the App introduce features that require additional data collection or new permissions, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
